Victor Niederhoffer to Rossini: You Can Get Up Now

The market achieved consonance yesterday. The Dow is around 10,000 again, for the fifth time in the last year. Intel closed at 22 exactly, and IBM at 90. Gioacchino Rossini (1792-1868), who couldn't get up in the morning if someone left a dominant seventh chord hanging in the air, would be able to rise now with all these resolutions.

Seasonatarians

The seasonatarians are particularly bullish on a day like this, --- but one has already been awakened by the consonant resolution of last Monday's dominant seventh and sees no need for joining such a traditional group
