My, oh my, got all worked up when J.T. started talking about Spring in the South. Carolina, Virginia, Alabama; Roll Tide Roll. Those warmer and longer days to throw a line and see the strikes. Ol' J.T. grew up, don't you know, fishing for bass with all the right bait. So in his honor, listed below, are a few ism that may bring us together around some spawning hole.

• To learn how to cast and retrieve your fly, you have to practice.
• No matter where your fly lands, always be ready to retrieve.
• Never point the tip of your rod at a large fish you've hooked; this is a sure way to snap your line
• Make your fist cast way before you reach the bank.  Fish can't see you when you're back on land.
